Green Square pt. 2
After an interesting response to the earlier post we decided to investigate the green square mode in actual use today through a direct comparison off camera, no editing. The top one is green square - 1/50s at f6.3. The bottom one is my settings - 0.3s at f22 (running water) with +2 saturation and 6000K white balance. For those who try to be clever by choosing the ‘landscape’ scene mode, there doesn’t seem to be any difference at all from green square - this is the middle one - 1/60th at f5.6. Both the camera’s modes overexposed, undersaturated and got the white balance wrong (green square also tried to pop the flash). The verdict is in!
